In 1989 Gill our Director became lost in the African jungle on her own on the sides of Mount Kenya. She emerged 5 days later a very different person, having discovered and developed strengths that until then had been untested and a level of resourcefulness and creativity that she helps others tap into. she became fascinated by how the mind works during survival and pressure situations and taught stress management to industry for 20 years. Clients included British Telecom, HMRC,Atkins Global and many local authorities. During that time she also owned the UK's largest School of Massage until she adopted her son when he was three in 2011.

"Adopting has been far more challenging and stressful than getting lost in the African jungle!!" says Gill

After several years of training, therapy and being a therapeutic parent (mostly!) she now specialises in resilience training for adopters, foster carers and professionals.
